What is a labour council?

A labour council is a group of unionized affiliates to the Canadian Labour Congress. The affiliates pay dues to a labour council and assist in highlighting the work of labour in our communities.

How can I get involved in the labour council’s work?

To become involved your affiliate will need to complete the dues form and attend the monthly meetings of the labour council. The affiliate is able to send a minimum of three people and a maximum of five people (see form for details) to the labour council meetings. As a member of the labour council you can become involved with a local committee or by simply participating in the monthly meetings.

Who do I notify if my contact information has changed?
